Chief Executive Officer
Steve is passionate about education. He has worked in education professionally since 2010, and personally for his entire life. He has also been in marketing and sales his whole career, and Calvert is a wonderful opportunity to combine these passions.
Before joining Calvert, Steve worked in various roles with Pearson Education, culminating in running marketing globally for the company’s K-12 division. He played an important role in that company’s shift to digital. Steve’s previous experiences include serving as the Chief Marketing Officer with LexisNexis (a division of Reed Elsevier) and he began his career at Pepsico.
Steve earned his earned his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BA in Economics and Political Science from the State University of New York. He and his wife Sari have two children, Lauren and Bobby. Steve has completed the New York Marathon twice.
